Sunday Worship Services
What happens on Sunday?
All services begin at 10:30 a.m. Childcare is available for young children in the nursery, and there are religious education classes for children from kindergarten age through high school. Services include music, readings, hymns, meditation/prayer, and a sermon. There is a chance to greet the people around you, and to express joys and sorrows.
Social Hour
Each Sunday after the service, folks are encouraged to gather at the rear of the Great Hall for beverages and socialization. It’s a great opportunity to find out about upcoming events at the information tables and enjoy each other’s company.
Other events that happen on Sundays
In addition to Religious Education programming for children and youth, which primarily happens on Sundays, the Adult Faith Development Team coordinates educational, spiritual, and/or social programming for adults, and these also often occur on Sundays either before or after the worship service. These are announced in Circuits, the weekly e-newsletter. See the Educational Programs for Adults page of this website for an overview of such offerings.
