UUtheVote established as the UUSS Social Justice Focus

The Social Justice Action Team (SJAT) has decided to adopt UUtheVote as the Congregational focus through the November elections as the Team continues its work to seek a focus our longer term justice action agenda.
UUtheVote is a nationwide effort to fight for fair elections, advance voting rights, protect abortion access, and resist the targeting and criminalization of Black, Indigenous, and people of color communities. Together, our Congregation can address the current threats to our democracy and human dignity. Rosemary Bishop and Kat Wolfram have generously volunteered to lead the UUtheVote sub-team. There will be many ways for you to participate in this critical work. For more information, please email: uuthevoteuuss@gmail.com.
