Religious Education on Feb. 19th, 2023

This Sunday we’ll have a Faithful Funday session.
Children and youth will start in the Great Hall for the first part of the service.
Afterward the Time for All Ages, the children in Kindergarten through 6th grade will go to the K-3rd grade classroom, next to the dining room in the main building. There, I’ll be leading a session about the subject of the story, Rev Ethelred Brown. We’ll also explore what it would look like with Love as the center of our faith – which is part of the proposed changes to Article II of the UUA bylaws. Lyndsi Holmes-Wickert will be joining me. And we’ll have some fun activities for free play until you parents and caretakers arrive.
Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to come to Faithful Funday to help out (and share their ideas!) Or they may stay in the service. Rev Sam Trumbore from Albany UU will be speaking about Love and Power – the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s understanding of the holy power of Love to change our hearts and minds.
The UUSS Nursery: Childcare for children 5 and under is available from 10-12 on Sundays!
