This Month’s Theme: Covenental Faith

Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal faith. Rather than a shared creed to which we are expected to subscribe, we instead are bound by promises we make to one another to affirm one another’s worth; to practice justice, equity, and compassion in our relations; acceptance and encouragement to spiritual growth; a free and responsible search for truth; to respect the interdependent web of all existence, and so much more! The practice of covenant is a vital one as it invites us to uphold our agreements, our promises regardless of whether others hold up their end. We’ll explore the concepts of covenant in our lived experiences and within our religious tradition.
