July 30: activities on the environment with members of the Green Sanctuary, Paula and George Shaw and Catherine Miller.

If the weather is good, the group will spend most of the time outside. Please have your child wear long pants, socks and sturdy shoes. We recommend that you send your child with insect repellent to apply outside that morning. The group will explore plant life, and the stream life and geology at the wooded property next to UUSS. Time allowing, they will also walk to the campus of Union College to learn more about geology.

Children and youth will need a signed permission form so they can leave UUSS property. You can sign the permission form with this link ahead of time. Feel free to fill out the permission form if you think you even might come. Paper permission slips will be in the room that day.

When you arrive on Sunday morning, please come to the classroom next to the nursery to sign your child in and meet the volunteers. The group will return to the room shortly after the service ends.
