In one of our beloved hymns, “Blue Boat Home,” we sing “I give thanks for the waves upholding me.” Likewise, we give thanks for a community in which we can be welcomed and supported. You are invited to bring water (or pour some from the pitchers that will be available) symbolizing your summer, or what you wish to bring to share with this congregation. Worship will be followed by a picnic!
