Rabbi Abraham Joshua Herschel, in his book The Sabbath, says “Labor is a craft, but perfect rest is an art… The seventh day is a palace in time which we build.” This week we will explore the practice of keeping the Sabbath. Can creating a special time each week be an antidote to the demands of our relentless 24/7 world? Could it be much more than that? Would we consider such a time to be holy? How might a Unitarian Universalist keep the Sabbath?
UUSS worship services are held in-person in the Great Hall, and also online. To join in the worship service online via Zoom, click HERE on Sunday morning.
