As we begin our October theme of Living the Questions, we explore practices that help us hold opposing ideas and possibilities. Many of us experience feeling hope that lifts and energizes. Many of us also experience feeling hopelessness, that, along with bringing sadness, can bring clarity or release from expectations. What might we learn from spiritual and social movement leaders about holding both together?
