We proclaim to be on the side of love, on the side of justice and compassion. These are big things that require us to be in it for the long haul. Rebecca Solnit reminds us that “it’s always too soon to calculate effect.” No matter what happens in a single day, or week, month, year, or election, we get to commit to keep showing up. How do we stay resilient and connected, knowing that we need one another?
