Flower Ceremony Centennial

The first Flower Ceremony was held in Prague, in June 1923, led by Rev. Norbert Čapek. For decades, this beloved tradition and its powerful history have provided meaning to hundreds of UU congregations. Please bring a flower (or two or a bunch) to add to the beauty we will create together in our multigenerational congregation!

UUSS worship services are currently held in-person in the Great Hall, and also online. To join in the worship service online via Zoom, click HERE on Sunday morning.

UUSS building mask status: masks are now optional, and are always welcome.

If you have questions about the service, Unitarian Universalism, or the UU Society of Schenectady (UUSS), contact UUSS Congregational Life Coordinator Kristin Cleveland at clc@uuschenectady.org.
