We gather online to share an ancient story of hope and possibility, light candles in the darkness, and sing songs of joy and peace. There will be a special collection for Joseph’s House. All are welcome for this online Christmas Eve service.

Christmas Eve Offering

Our collection on Christmas Eve will support Joseph’s House & Shelter in Troy, NY, whose mission is to provide non-judgemental services to end homelessness. They operate street outreach programs, emergency shelters, and permanent supported apartments for those previously unhoused. In the last year they have served twice as many unsheltered persons as before the pandemic.

Generous donations of any amount will make a difference. If mailing a check to the church, please make it out to Joseph’s House, with UUSS in the memo. Contributions can be made online using the the Donate page on this website, or directly through Breeze. Be sure to select the “Give to Christmas Eve Collection” option. Contributions to Joseph’s House qualify for the GE Match program.
