A Good Life to the Very End

At a time when advances in technology have led to a medicalization of the dying process, new challenges exist in how we provide care and support at the end of life.  Is there such a thing as a “good death,” and what does that really look like?  How might we cultivate communities of compassionate caregivers so that all may experience what physician/author Atul Gawande describes as “a good life to the very end”?
