Religious Education – Week of April 9th

Such a busy week for our UU Youth!

Some of the Sr. Youth just returned from their BorderLinks trip–looking forward to hearing all about this intense and meaningful trip very soon!

I had the honor of joining the Coming of Age group on their Boston Pilgrimage this past weekend! We were joined by Advisors Erin Piotrowski and Mark Vermilyea and volunteer chaperone Tom Comparin.
Seventeen people sleeping in one room–now that’s an adventure! We also toured our UUA headquarters and attended a service at the Arlington Street Church, followed by an informative presentation on Unitarian Universalism history, the Arlington Street Church in particular, and a very exciting tour of the bell tower–culminating with the kids working together to play a tune for all of Boston to hear! There were many other activities as well, with opportunities for learning, growing, exploring, and lots of playing and bonding. What a wonderful experience this congregation gives our children–thank you!

If you see one of these Youth, take a moment to ask them about their experience–you’ll be in for a treat!

Religious Education classes will take place this Sunday, 4/15, at 10:30, in the regular classrooms; the Coming of Age group will be meeting at 10:00.
