Religious Education this Week – April 21st

How are you faring during this “pause” in time? Your children? Any thoughts on what the church might do to help support you and your family during this unusual time? Feel free to call or email Director of Lifespan RE Robin Ahearn to touch base on ideas or needs you may have.

Story Time for Youngin’s will begin Tuesday, 4/21, at 6:30 pm. These books will run about 25-30 minutes and be geared toward younger children as they prepare for dream land. DLRE Robin Ahearn will be the reader this week; next week’s reader will be a member of the Lovegrove Family! A Zoom link has been posted to the church Facebook page.

Anybody (grades 4-6’ish) up for a good book?! Come, join us this Friday, 4/24, at noon, and we’ll continue reading The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster! Our next chapter is chapter 6. A Zoom link will be posted to the church Facebook page.

Wednesday, 4/22, is Earth Day! How about organizing a family litter cleanup to help beautify your neighborhood? Get gloves and/or pick-up tools and pick up trash as you walk around your neighborhood or a nearby park. Maybe build a bird feeder, start a compost pile, or get an early start on this summer’s veggie garden by starting your plants off inside? It’ll get you and your family outside (and away from the news!). Happy Earth Day!

Coming of Age Youth will be meeting online on Sunday, 4/26, at 12:30 pm–parents are invited for the first half hour as we begin planning for the Coming of Age service. Sr Youth will be meeting Sunday, 4/26, at 1 pm. Zoom links for both meetings will be emailed separately.

Remember to wash your hands, and please stay healthy and safe!
