Religious Education this Week

What a delightful celebration of Easter, Passover, April, and Spring Sunday was! What a treat seeing all the children make their way down and around and up–to choose the perfect daffodil, tulip, or hyacinth from the beautifully decorated chancel. Some crawled, some charged, but all were delighted with a potted plant/bulb to take and plant and remember. Beautiful music. Our fabulous ministers, so complementary in their ways: inspiring us, challenging us, and making us smile. A visit with the Myatt Family’s super-friendly bunny Reese’s, and scads of eggs hidden everywhere, just waiting for children to find them. One couldn’t help but have a smile on their face at UUSS on Sunday.

This coming Sunday, April 8, Religious Education participants will attend classes, with the exception of the Coming of Age kids, who will be attending service at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, wrapping up their pilgrimage, and making their way back to Schenectady. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this possible! Details to follow.

Please note: DLRE Robin Ahearn will be with the COA kids in Boston and out of the office this Sunday; please see Congregational Life Coordinator Kristin Cleveland or Sunday Supervisor Jodi Lovegrove with any questions or concerns.
