Religious Education on Sunday Oct. 15th

We’ll have regular sessions of RE for grades K-7 and Senior High Youth

  • Everyone will gather in for the first part of the service in the Great Hall.
  • After the story in the service, the elementary aged children will go to their classrooms: the 4th-7th graders (the Windows and Mirrors Group) meet on the second floor of Waters House, and the K-3rd grade group (the Favorite UU Stories Group) meet in the room next to the Nursery.
  • The 8th/9th grade OWL class does not meet this week. They are welcome to attend the service.
  • Please go to your child’s room at about 11:45 to pick them up.
  • The high school youth group will also start in the Great Hall and then go to Waters House for their meeting until about noon.

RE October Calendar:

22 – classes for K-7th and 8/9th OWL; No Youth Group

29 – Multigen worship – No OWL or Youth Group
Registration is required for children and youth who attend nursery through youth in 12th grade. click here to enroll your children in RE, if you haven’t already.

We are hiring a “Floating” RE teacher to work every Sunday and serve as a sub or extra hand wherever they are needed. Here’s the description. Please pass this along to anyone who you think would be interested or talk to Leah Purcell at dlre@schenectadyuu.org.
