Read & Discuss We Who Believe in Freedom: Activism and the Struggle for Social Justice.

The next book in the BIPOC Book Group is a memoir by local civil rights activist Dr. Alice Green of the Center for Law & Justice in Albany — We Who Believe in Freedom: Activism and the Struggle for Social Justice. Join the book discussion with Dr. Green on Monday, April 25, at 6:30 pm. UUSS member Sue Brunelle will facilitate the book discussion.
Dr. Green’s memoir takes readers on a complicated journey through history and modern personal experiences in the unwavering struggle towards racial justice and accountability in the face of white supremacy.
You can find the book at Open Door Bookstore, The Book House in Albany, and the Schenectady Library. Or through the Center for Law & Justice. All proceeds from the sale of the book go to support the work at the Center for Law & Justice.
