It was such a treat to attend this past Sunday’s service, A Place at the Table: Breaking Bread Together. Beautiful on so many levels. One of my favorites was hearing our choirs sing–wonderfully ethereal! We were also short a childcare provider during the pizza luncheon and congregational meeting portions of the day, so I had the honor of hanging out with some of our wonderful UU children during that time, so fun! It was a good day.

This coming Sunday, 11/25, K/1 Children will go directly to their classroom for a full-session class. Children in grades 2-8 will head directly to the Children’s Chapel on the second floor of Waters House. Mati Grieco-Hackett will be joining with DLRE Robin Ahearn to lead Children’s Chapel. Sr Youth will go directly to their meeting room for a full-session class.

The UU Society of Schenectady is hosting a Chaplain Training 11/30-12/2. We are in need of folks to make meals magically appear! Snacks are needed for Friday night, breakfast on Saturday morning, lunch for Saturday afternoon (sandwiches and veggies & fruit), dinner for Saturday evening (potato bar with lots of fixins!), and breakfast for Sunday morning. A sign-up will be posted soon.
