Learn more about UU & UUSS!

If you are new to this faith or this congregation, or if you’d just like to learn more about both, then come to Getting To Know UU! This is a 3-session course featuring learning and conversations with Rev. Wendy, Rev. Lynn, UU history expert Ernie Hall, and UUSS Director of Lifespan Religious Education Robin Ahearn.

Through discussion and activities that offer opportunities for connection, we’ll learn about UU history and the(*)logy, faith development, how we worship in a covenantal faith, and how we express our values through social justice. We’ll meet on Sundays October 16th, 23rd & 30th, from 12-2 pm.

Our plan is to meet in-person in the UUSS Dining Room. Lunch will be provided before the class, and we’ll eat outdoors when weather permits, or distanced with all of the air filters running when weather isn’t conducive to eating outside. If you have questions or if the in-person plan is a barrier for you to participate, please let UUSS Congregational Life Coordinator Kristin Cleveland know. Her email is clc@uuschenectady.org and her phone # is (518)374-4446 X7.

Childcare is available if requested before October 11th.
