In schools, we sometimes name the three r’s as reading, writing, and arithmetic. Here at UUSS, we’ll explore a different three r’s-Repair, Renewal, and Resilience. We humans make mistakes and it is important to learn how to make amends, to repair the relationship. We humans get bored or fed up and it is important to take a break, take a nap, or try something new to renew our spirits. We humans get overwhelmed or burnout and we need practices and communities that help us build our resilience when facing the challenges of being human, alive at this point in time.

UUSS can be a place where we practice being human in a community that leans into repair, renewal, and resilience. Welcoming in the New Year is a great place to start!
