Family Promise is a national network of faith communities and trained volunteers who provide temporary shelter, food, and assistance to homeless families. UUSS is part of the Capital Region Family Promise program, and hosts families for a week at a time at Waters House. The next hosting dates for UUSS are Oct 27 – Nov. 3. Sign up for a time slot if you can! Also, we are always looking for new volunteers.
