Philosophy Group Discussion

March 1, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Philosophy comes in many forms covering a broad spectrum of discussion. Books we have read delve into the ideas and the written word about knowledge, truth, reality, reason, ethics, and government. NO prior knowledge of philosophy is needed to participate and discuss. If you would like to review a list of books we have read, have questions, or get on our contact list, please email Gabrielle Reals at ellegr2@gmail.com. Join us on zoom to learn why the Philosophy Group has been continually active for 46 years.
The UU Schenectady Philosophy Group next meets online Wednesday, March 1st, beginning at 10:00am until 12noon. We will continue our review of Noam Chomsky’s Who Rules the World. Chapters 19-22. Notes will be developed by Al Cannistraro; facilitated by Gabrielle Reals. Chapter headings; “Two Ways About It”, One Day in Life of a NYT reader, “The “Iranian Threat” – Who is the Greatest Threat to World Peace, and The Doomsday Clock.
