Philosophy Discussion Group

The UU Schenectady Philosophy Group meets online Wednesday, June 12 th from 10:00 am until 12 noon.  Books we have read delve into the ideas and the written word about – knowledge, truth, reality, reason, ethics, and government. NO prior knowledge of philosophy is needed to participate. To obtain a list of books we have read, have questions, or get on our contact list, please email Gerry Schuth at gerry @schuth.com .

June 12th – The June 12 th topic will be the role of the United States in world affairs. This can range from fully interventionist as we do now, isolationists as we have been for most of the past, or something in between known as neo-isolationist. Which is the proper role for the United States for our citizens? Facilitator – Andy Semicks
