The UU Schenectady Philosophy Group meets online Wednesday, June 28th, beginning at 10:00
AM until 12 noon. We will complete our discussion/review of the book: THE FLAG +THE CROSS,
White Christian Nationalism and the Threat to American Democracy, Philip S. Gorski and Samuel L.
Perry Facilitated by Al Cannistraro.

The second hour of the session will be a general discussion about the nature of the group. Who are
we? What do we strive to do? What changes, if any, should be implemented? All active and inactive
members are encouraged to participate.

Books we have read delve into the ideas and the written word about – knowledge, truth, reality,
reason, ethics, and government. NO prior knowledge of philosophy is needed to participate and
