The UU Schenectady Philosophy Group meets online Wednesday, June 14th, beginning at 10:00
AM until 12 noon.

We will continue our discussion of the new book: THE FLAG +THE CROSS, White
Christian Nationalism and the Threat to American Democracy, by Philip S. Gorski and Samuel L. Perry. We will focus on Chapter 3, pages 76 – 102, “Freedom, Violence, Order”, and this week’s conversation will be facilitated by Robb Smith.

Books we have read delve into the ideas and the written word about – knowledge, truth, reality,
reason, ethics, and government. NO prior knowledge of philosophy is needed to participate and
