Open Circle for Anti-Racism – Monday, August 31st at 6PM

August 31, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

A 2018 John Lewis tweet, “Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”
To continue the work of uprooting racism and dismantling white supremacy, we must be grounded — in our UU faith, in justice, and in connection. Let’s share time together to connect and replenish. What encounters change you?  How are experiences transforming you? How do you channel your anger? How do you replenish your spirit? What helps you to be optimistic? Share your stories, quotes that inspire you, and connect with other people also doing the work. You are not alone.
