Shaker Heritage Society Tour with Speaker: K. Michelle Arthur, Ph.D., Education Coordinator, Shaker Heritage Society.  As we have done the past several years, we will take a field trip for our June meeting. This time we will meet at the Shaker Heritage Society near the Albany airport (25 Meeting House Road) for a picnic and a special tour. Following a general introduction to the Shakers and their beliefs, Michelle Arthur, the Education Coordinator, will give us a tour of the various buildings on the site. —All women are welcome to come and enjoy this interesting program.

The Evening Branch of the Women’s Alliance (EBWA) will provide a catered vegetarian picnic at 6:00 pm, followed by the tour at 6:45 pm. To make a reservation for the picnic, e-mail Gabrielle Reals at ellegr3@gmail.com by Monday, June 11 or call her at 382-5685 no later than 8pm Tuesday, June 12. Gluten-free meals are available if requested with your reservation. You may also bring your own food, or come for the program only (in which case you should plan to arrive by 6:40). Cost of the evening is $15 or $5 without the meal. (If you need to hire a babysitter, inform us when you make your reservation and the cost will be only $7.50.) Our meals are catered so please honor your reservation.
