October 25th – “Compassionate Communication” with Philomena Moriarity of UAlbany, who will share the joy of nonviolent communication

November 15- “Re-Horizon” with Aneesa Waheed, Moroccan restaurateur and spa entrepreneur

December 13- “Voices from the Past: Meeting My Grandparents Through Their Letters, 1905-1919” with Peg Reich, amateur historian, editor and long-time member of UUSS

January 24- “Unheard No More: Power Through Action” with Angelica Morris, Executive Director, Schenectady County Human Rights

February 28 “Mount Kilimanjaro and Beyond” with Jean Quattrocchi, traveler and member of the Adirondack Mountain Club

March 28 “For the Greater Good : The Building of the Sacandaga Reservoir” with Lauren Roberts, Saratoga County Historian.

April 25 “How To Have Great Sex- A Conversation With Women” with Dr. Bridget M. Finn, Founder and President of the Capital Region Center for Sexual Health

May 23 “The Me in the Me Too Movement: Finding My Voice Through Creative Expression” with Leslie Neustadt, artist, writer, and cancer survivor

June 13- “Eyes on the Stars: Bridging the gap between astronomy researcher and informal educator” with Dr. Valerie Rapson, field trip to MiSci Museum in Schenectady

All women are welcome to our Thursday evening meetings. Come for wine/ juice and crackers at 5:45pm, or for a vegetarian supper at 6:15pm. Registration is required for the supper and program, call Gabrielle at 382-5685 by Tuesday at 8pm or email her at ellegr3@gmail.com by Monday. Cost for the evening is $15.  Networking begins around 7pm and the program starts around 8pm, or a little earlier. We finish at 9pm. If you wish to attend the program only, no reservations are required, just show up around 7:45pm. Cost for the program only is $3.
