What does the beginning of September mean to you?

If it includes honoring the workers and being grateful for unions and others who have worked to protect those who work in so many different fields, we join you in gratitude.

If it includes the beginning of a new school year as a student, teacher, parent, administrator, staff person, bus driver, crossing guard, or any other way, we hope that the year begins smoothly.

If September includes lots of harvesting on a farm or garden, we hope that it is joyfully abundant with beautiful blessings.

If September includes worry and grief for the tumultuous times that the world is in, we invite you to attend this month’s grief group.

If this September brings with it a desire for community, we hope to see you at worship and at the many programs at UUSS, as we gather for inspiration, community care, collective action, collaborative learning, and shared ministry.
