Co-Ministers’ Colloquy – March 30th

In this holy week of Passover and Easter, let us reflect on the ancient and recent stories of how empire impacts faith, about how we tell the stories shapes our understandings of them. Our Living Tradition draws from a variety of sources including ‘Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God’s love by loving our neighbors as ourselves.’ As more of us get vaccinated, how might we assist our neighbors get an appointment? How might we create more liberation by sharing power and resources? As winter turns to spring, what needs to go to the compost and what might we invite to rise again? It might just be time for a resurrection of the goodness and kindness of God’s love, of Allah’s love, of Yahweh’s love, of the Goddess’ love, of the best of Human love. May we help to make it so.
In faith,
Rev. Wendy and Rev. Lynn
