Dear UUSS~

One year ago, we sent the first Circuits when the building was closed. It was the first week that all of the staff were working from home. Rather than naming a room in the church buildings where classes and programs would happen, we included a Zoom link for each activity. We offered Zoom tutorials to help as many folks as possible learn how to use the program. The Caring Team made phone calls to folks who don’t use computers, to make sure that you had all the information needed. We have all learned so much, and kept learning as the technology changed. What have you learned this year? Zoom, Google Meets, or other programs? Soundtrap (for recording choir music?) Movie editing? Where to put lights and microphones? How to support kid’s or your own learning online? How to bake bread? How to listen to podcasts? How to sew? How to create a routine when everything is different? Dear ones, we are a year in, and, together, we will keep learning as we move forward, with care, and with commitment to our mission of compassion, justice, and joy!
