Co-Ministers’ Colloquy – Jan. 25th

Hello, hello~
We hope this finds you well, whether you are reading this from a place that is beautifully snowy, or from someplace a bit warmer. And if you are not well, that you will reach out to us, to a family member, friend, or loved one to offer you some care or a listening ear. Some of us really are not fine right now. We are struggling. We are lonely, or overwhelmed.
However you may be feeling, reach out to people you miss from the congregation-the people you used to say hello to on Sundays over coffee or tea or wave across the circle at, even if you have never exchanged an email or a phone call before. It will make a difference. Really. Find the courage.
We know that UU Schenectady is a place, but even more importantly, it is people, people who join together for worship, for lifespan faith development, for care and connection, and to work together for justice.
Along with many UUs across the continent, we encourage you to participate in this year’s 30 Days of Love, sponsored by the Side With Love campaign. Week #2’s focus is democracy and voting rights. For lots of great activities to choose from, see https://sidewithlove.org/week-two-january-24-30-democracy-voting-rights
 In faith,
~ Rev Wendy and Rev. Lynn
Note: Our Co-ministers are attending the Institute for the Learning Ministry during the week of January 31-February 6. If you have any emergencies or concerns, please contact Susan Marino, Church Administrator.
