Tuesday evening, October 24, from 7 – 9PM, People of Albany United for Safe Energy is offering a forum called “Carbon 101” at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany. Green Sanctuary is cosponsoring this forum along with the Sierra Club, Citizens’ Climate Lobby and other environmental organizations and faith communities. Judith Enck, a former EPA administrator is moderating. Two New York State bills and a national carbon tax will be presented and discussed, with economist Sara Hsu from SUNY New Paltz giving a short “Carbon 101” talk and assisting with questions.
