Religious Education this Sunday, June 14th

Don’t miss this year’s final day of Religious Education classes, and a chance to connect, offer gratitude to teachers and facilitators, and celebrate together!

This Sunday the children will start in the service. After the story for all ages, the K-8 World of Wonder students and teachers will meet by the front entrance to walk over to Waters House. The 7/8 OWL students and teachers will meet at the fireplace near the welcome table to go to the dining room in preparation for the 7/8 OWL graduation and celebration after the service. The nursery will be open for children 5 and under. Children are also welcome to stay in the service with family.

After the service 7/8 OWL parents will join their children in the dining room for the 7/8 OWL graduation. There will also be a Youth Group potluck picnic behind Waters House. The youth and families are welcome to bring a dish to share, chairs, and instruments for lawn games, music and lunch. The 8th grade OWL students who will be in the youth group next year are invited to join the picnic after the 7/8 OWL graduation. We look forward to seeing you!

In anticipation of our Summer Stars program, we are looking for congregation members who would like to share a hobby, talent, craft or skill with the RE children this summer. Please reach out with a Sunday you are available or with questions or ideas. Thank you for your support of our RE program!
