On March 15, 2026, we celebrated the launch of our 125th anniversary celebrations with a wonderful worship service including a family of 5 generations lighting the chalice, wonderful memories and stories from our young ones and once young ones, a stewardship pledge form ritual, a recorded message from our UUA President, the Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, and wonderful preaching from the Rev. Ashley Horan.

Then we had a terrific Launch Lunch with about 140 people, a toast, a delicious lunch in a beautifully decorated dining room, and yummy treats! It was a great start to our celebrations!!

Sunday March 15, 2026 marks our 125th Anniversary since receiving the certificate of incorporation from New York State. In 1901, a small but intrepid group could not have imagined what would evolve from their courageous efforts. During the worship service at 10:30, we will celebrate the culmination of the Stewardship Campaign and pivot to focus on our congregation’s 125th anniversary! We will have wonderful music, a reflection from long-timers on the congregation, a message from the President of the UUA, and welcome Rev. Ashley Horan, Vice President of Programs and Ministries who will co-lead worship with us!

Following worship, we’ll transition into the dining room for a celebratory 125th Launch Lunch! We’ll have some opening remarks, a blessing, a catered lunch, a special dessert, and maybe even some fun games! Come to nurture your spirit, to give thanks to our congregation’s ancestors, and to imagine a legacy we can gift to those who have yet to arrive.
