Minuscule Matters: Cultivating courage through small moments of bravery

Courage is often portrayed as big acts of bravery. Taking leaps out of airplanes, speaking in front of masses of people, or standing up to bullies in defiant and public ways. Courage is also, and almost always, an accumulation of small moments of bravery. The realizations, the reflections, the conversations with others to orient yourself to change, the minuscule minutes of pushing yourself up to take on something scary, different, or wrong. This week’s service will explore those mini moments of bravery that supply the fuel to act courageous when we need it most.
