Co-Ministers’ Colloquy – Dec. 3rd

“If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate, give in to it,” wrote the poet, Mary Oliver.

This month, at UUSS, we are remembering and claiming that even though life includes challenges and sadness, and even though there are people in power who are choosing evil and greed, that still, there is joy! Here, you can show up feeling however you are feeling… and… if you feel joy, embrace it with abundance. “Joy is not made to be a crumb,” concluded the poet.

Yesterday, on Giving Tuesday, we experienced joy as we contributed to support some of the organizations that are helping to shape the world that we want to live in… and that included UUSS. We hope you will join us in contributing to the special 125th fund, that will support the events for the congregation and the wider community, that will honour and celebrate 125 years of compassion, justice, and joy, yes, joy! See the #Giving Tuesday announcement below and share it with others! (yes, we know it is Wednesday but it is not too late to give!)

With hope, and in faith~ Rev. Lynn & Rev. Wendy
