The Good We Hope For

Featuring guest musician & worship leader Joe Jencks, along with our own Stephanie Maslanka, Geoff Lundy, and Maria Elmer.
Within our liberal religious traditions there is a tacit invitation to be in the world as peacemakers, clear communicators, and as bridge builders. One could define this as the very heart of diplomacy. How then are we encouraged by our faith to move into the world ready to meet people where they are, rather than expecting them to join us where we are? What does radical hospitality look like right now? How do we let The Good We Hope For become a practice in our daily lives? The role of diplomat, bridge-builder, ambassador, and problem-solver is not just the work of trained professionals. It is an opportunity available to us all, and some would argue, a direct invitation of our Unitarian Universalist traditions.
