UUSS Paddles will occur one more time for the 2025 season, on Tuesday evening, August 26th.

Join UUSS members and friends as we honor the interconnected web of life, while enjoying local waters. All kayakers, canoeists and paddlers welcome. Friends and family welcome too! If you don’t own watercraft and would like to join the fun, contact UUSS ahead of time at info at uuschenectady dot org, and we can coordinate to bring extra craft and equipment for you.

On Tuesday August 26 we’ll gather at 5:45 at the Freemans Bridge Boat Launch Glenville, and launch at 6 pm. Daylight is getting shorter so this will be our shortest paddle of the season. Please RSVP to Randy Jennings ahead of time so you can be notified of location updates, or case of cancellation due to weather. (If there are thunderstorms in the area, we will cancel.)
