Daytime Alliance to Enjoy Tales of Early Colonial Schenectady

February 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

All are invited to come to the church Dining Room for lunch at 12 noon on Thursday, February 6, and then learn about our colonial beginnings from Michael Diana (pictured), Schenectady County Historical Society’s Education & Programs Manager. Diana will explore Schenectady’s beginnings, describe the importance of the fur trade to the community, compare a colonial map and a modern map, and share artists’ depictions of Schenectady’s early settlement, including an original 1670 land agreement between the Mohawks and Dutch settlers.

Lunch will be catered by Gershon’s for $20, payable at the door. For an accurate headcount, please be sure to RSVP to Allison Lee by Feb. 3.
