Postcards and Letters

New postcard addresses are in! Let us know how many postcards you’ll be writing during June and July. We continue to write letters with Vote Forward.

The Cost of Stamps Increases July 14

Buy them now! We will be writing letters and postcards through October and need postage. The cost of stamps will go from $0.68 to $0.73 and postcard stamps will go from $0.53 to $0.56.

If you cannot write letters or postcards and want to participate, you can purchase stamps – either for postcards or letters — and drop them off into the Stamp Out Voter Suppression box on Sundays or into the UU The Vote mailbox outside of the office.

Juneteenth on Saturday, June 22

UU The Vote will have a Help us Rock the Vote! table on Saturday at the 24th Annual 2024 Juneteenth Celebration in Central Park and Vale Cemetery in Schenectady. We’ll be painting rocks with voting messages and encouraging folks to register to vote and to show up for elections in 2024. Let us know if you’d like to help setting up, hosting, or packing up. Good times!
