It Takes a lot more than a Village

Being a parent is difficult. Being a human is difficult too. I’ve tended to focus on what “I” can do and put a lot of pressure on myself to get it all done. The “I” that I work with is limited based on what I know, what I have been taught, and what’s been handed down to me. What happens if we decide that parenting is not just our responsibility or that of our partner and us, but the wider community? What does that do for us, our children, and community?
