This past Friday folks gathered for the official start of this year’s #UUtheVote at UU Schenectady.

In honor of the power of collective organizing, and on this last day of National Poetry month, we share a haiku written by UUSS member Suzanne Brunelle, along with an image created by Chrissy Bisceglia for the Sparks of Inspiration collection in 2022.

This little bright flame

becomes a burgeoning ball

when hearts seek justice.
