The UU Schenectady Philosophy Group meets online on Wednesdays from 10:00 am until 12 noon. Books we have read delve into the ideas and the written word about – knowledge, truth, reality, reason, ethics, and government. NO prior knowledge of philosophy is needed to participate. We are currently discussing The Soul of America – A Battle for Our Better Angels, a timely new book by Pulitzer Prize Winning Author Jon Meacham. On February 21st we’ll be exploring Chapter 7, “What the Hell is the Presidency For?,”  pg. 211 – 252. This week’s conversation will be facilitated by  M Lawton.
