BIPOC Book Group Discussion of There, There
November 27, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
For Native American Heritage Month, we read a debut novel by Indigenous American author Tommy Orange, a member of both Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes. There, There offers stories of twelve characters facing conditions in urban reservations in their struggles for identity and authenticity – a story of hardship and hope. Join us for a book discussion on this short-listed, Pulitzer-Prize finalist, award-winning novel on November 27, at 6 pm.
We welcome all newcomers to the book read and discussion. If you’d like to lead a discussion or offer book suggestions for Black, Indigenous, or Authors of Color, please let us know. Contact Kat Wolfram kmwolfram@gmail.com.
