We are so grateful to have had a bit of time of vacation to rest a bit and connect with friends and family.
Our time of study leave gifted us with some much needed time to ground ourselves and remind one another of our calling to ministry, a call nearly drowned out by the demands and challenges of the pandemic. We know that many of you have had similar levels of stress in your work and family life and we hope you’ve devoted some time (or will in the next month) to taking a break, engaging in a spiritual practice (something you do with intention, attention, and repetition to connect with the holy, and/or your highest self), and attending worship to connect with this community.
Thank you to the Staff and all the Volunteers who carried the responsibilities of worship during our time away. We so appreciate that both clergy and laity partner to create worship life for the congregation across a spectrum of perspectives and experiences throughout the year. We so look forward to meeting those of you who have started attending services during the summer!
We are also deeply grateful to partner with the Board of Trustees in faithfully leading this congregation into this new church year.
In faith,
