Is election justice a spiritual matter? What does our 5th Principle call us to do in response to systematic voter suppression? Join us for a multi-generational service as we put our 5th Principle into practice! Service will be shortened, leaving time to engage in justice-making together. We will write postcards and letters to encourage participation in the mid-term election. Enjoy a playlist of inspiring music, get your creative juices flowing with rock painting, button making, and coloring pages for all ages. Because we need nourishment to do the work of justice, there will be cookies and lemonade on the UUSS patio!
Stick around to design a postcard/letter, or pick up a packet to bring home! Supplies and instructions will be provided.
If you are joining service by zoom, you can participate in the hands-on justice work too! Email Rosemary Bishop & Kat Wolfram at uuthevoteuuss@gmail.com and we’ll drop off materials in advance.
Please join us for the worship service, either in-person in the Great Hall, or online via Zoom. In-person attendance will be masked.
If you choose to participate in this Sunday’s worship service online via Zoom, click HERE on Sunday morning.
If you have questions about the service, Unitarian Universalism, or the UU Society of Schenectady (UUSS), contact UUSS Congregational Life Coordinator Kristin Cleveland at clc@uuschenectady.org.
