Read All About It! Check out Thank You, Earth, by April Pulley Sayre. Winner of the Green Prize for Sustainable Literature. This love letter to Earth is an exploration of the beauty and complexity of the world around us. Remarkable photographs and a rich, layered text introduce concepts of science, nature, and language arts through stunning photographs and a poetic text structured as a simple thank-you note. Ages 3-6.

Senior Youth Campfire! Advisor Mark Hyland has offered to host a Senior Youth campfire this Friday, 11/5, from 7-8:30!

It’s weather dependent, of course, so keep your fingers crossed! If Mother Nature cooperates (forecast is looking good!), bring warm clothes, a mask, a camp chair, and make sure the church database, Breeze, is up to date on dietary needs (by Wednesday, please, so I have time for shopping). If you need help updating Breeze, just send me an email at dlre@uuschenectady.org and I’ll take care of it. We’re planning to have s’mores and want to be sure we have fixin’s for everyone.
