The Buildings and Grounds Team is excited to invite you to come spend a few hours caring for the UUSS gardens on Saturday, June 19, from 10 am until noon (rain date Saturday June 26).
During the last year, while we were carefully practicing isolation and social distancing, you may be surprised to hear that the garden weeds did not get the message! Now we have an opportunity to both reconnect safely outdoors and to start to reclaim our beautiful gardens. Come join us to pull a few weeds and do a little new planting. We’ll have tools available or you can bring your own, and if you have any extra plants from your own gardens, bring them along and we’ll find a place for them. Everyone is welcome, all ages, and no experience necessary. For extra safety, masks are required, and we’ll ask everyone to fill out a simple contact tracing form. Please register ahead of time at
