Religious Education This Week – Nov. 10th

This past Sunday began for me with a celebratory, uplifting, and fun UUSS service, and was followed by an energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging Senior Youth meeting! Later in the day, my family (those of us who live in NY) gathered at my eldest daughter’s house for our weekly family dinner, only to find the kitchen and living room bedecked in “winning” blue! My soon-to-be 13-year-old granddaughter had taken it upon herself to share her excitement around the election results by decorating and adding to the festive air. There might have also been some champagne and 7Up, depending on age! I was especially touched on Sunday by how informed our kids are–and how important they knew this election to be. I hope you and yours took some time to share in celebration as well!
K/1/2 Moral Tales will meet this Sunday, 11/15, at 9:30.
3/4/5 CartUUns will meet again Sunday, 11/22, at 9:30.
6/7/8 March will meet this Sunday, 11/15, at 7 pm.
Senior Youth (grades 9-12) will continue meeting on Sundays at noon.
Please remember to wear a mask, socially distance, take time outside, and wash your hands! -Robin Ahearn, Director of Lifespan Religious Education
